While walking down the street, they noticed something moving slowly out of a ditch. At first glance, it appeared to be a strange, dark figure. The odor was strong, and his movements were slow and labored. The young men soon realized the substance was tar\u2014a material commonly used in construction but extremely harmful to living creatures when it contacts the skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Without hesitation, they stopped a police officer, who assisted in transporting the dog to a nearby animal rescue center, Zoonosis Lan\u00fas. Volunteers at the shelter were shocked by the dog\u2019s condition. Many said they had never seen a case like this before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team immediately began efforts to remove the tar. They bathed the dog with soap and warm water, but it made little difference.
