Amy Schumer has humorously claimed that John Cena was \u201cliterally inside her\u201d during the filming of a steamy scene in their movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schumer, who played a commitment-averse party girl named Amy, starred opposite Cena in the 2015 romantic comedy Trainwreck<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the film, her character struggles with the idea of settling down but ends up involved in a series of relationships \u2014 one of which is with Cena\u2019s character, Steven, a fitness-obsessed boyfriend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their on-screen relationship culminated in a notably bold and intimate scene, which both actors have openly joked about in interviews over the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schumer has previously expressed her amazement at John Cena\u2019s physique, joking (via the Daily Star<\/em>): \u201cThat butt is like its own planet\u2026 It doesn\u2019t seem real. It honestly felt like a refrigerator was on top of me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With her signature humor, she added: \u201cHonestly, I think it was tougher for him. He actually had to do something. I just did what I usually do during sex \u2014 just laid there.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The comedian also admitted to one humorous regret from filming the scene: \u201cYou know what? I never got to feel his balls. That still bothers me. Huge regret. Truly.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Cena offered a different perspective on the scene, describing it as \u201cawkward.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a 2015 appearance on Conan<\/em>, the WWE star and actor admitted: \u201cYeah, it was definitely awkward. But that\u2019s what they were going for \u2014 so we gave them exactly that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During an appearance on Shannon Sharpe\u2019s Club Shay Shay<\/em> podcast, John Cena opened up about the challenges he faced while filming a comedic sex scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He recalled being told by the production team that instead of delivering scripted lines, he would be performing an over-the-top, exaggerated sex sequence for laughs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAmy is amazing\u2014she made everything feel really comfortable,\u201d Cena said. \u201cBut once I got the role, they eventually came to me and said, \u2018Yeah, so it\u2019s going to be a sex scene. We want it to be wild and ridiculous stunt-style sex. And those lines we gave you? We probably won\u2019t be using them.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though he\u2019s used to performing in front of large audiences thanks to his wrestling career, Cena admitted that acting in such a scene was a completely different kind of challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is the thing,\u201d he explained. \u201cPeople at home think it\u2019s just the two of us. But no\u2014there\u2019s an entire world behind the camera.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He went on to describe the filming environment: \u201cCatering was right there, the sound crew was right there. There are so many people involved in making a film. There\u2019s nothing private about it\u2014nothing at all. So it ends up being super embarrassing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Cena, the direction was clear: \u201cThey told us, \u2018Make it as awkward as possible.\u2019 But doing that with a full audience behind the scenes? It\u2019s a weird experience.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
