The incident took place around 8:13 a.m. as Roker was delivering his routine weather update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Midway through the report, Roker appeared briefly disoriented and paused. The broadcast quickly cut away, and crew members rushed in to assist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Witnesses on set say the 68-year-old television veteran had seemed upbeat earlier that morning. \u201cHe was in a great mood before we went live,\u201d one staff member shared. \u201cNo one saw this coming, but the team responded right away to make sure he got help.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene and assessed Roker backstage. While NBC has not confirmed whether he was taken to the hospital, sources say he was alert and responsive at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NBC released a short statement following the incident:<br><strong>\u201cAl Roker is currently receiving medical attention.
