The day was filled with barbecuing and tubing\u2014simple pleasures meant to bring everyone closer under the warm sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Known to her family as the \u201cprotector,\u201d Jordan was accompanied by her 8-year-old cousin Laila and 9-year-old Brylee, another young relative, as they were being pulled behind a Sea-Doo jet ski. Suddenly, tragedy struck when the watercraft hit a dock, throwing all three children into the water, local reports say.<br><br>While Brylee suffered minor injuries and Laila was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, Jordan tragically lost her life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Loved ones remember Jordan\u2019s last moments as a true act of selflessness.
