Over time, they\u2019ve been detected in soil, water sources, and even remote ecosystems around the globe. Because of their persistence, scientists are closely studying how these substances move through the food chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What the Study Found<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the recent research, scientists analyzed 100 popular pet food products sold in Japan. The products included brands manufactured across several regions, including the United States, Europe, Australia, and China. The goal was to determine whether trace levels of PFAS could be detected in commercial pet foods and whether certain product types showed higher concentrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The results revealed that measurable amounts of PFAS were found in a number of samples.
