A teenager in line snickered, then yelled, \u201cYou need <em>more cash<\/em>\u2014for the water!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The old man flinched, confused and embarrassed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brandon froze. His heart twisted at the sight. Then, without thinking, he stepped forward, placed the cup on the counter, and said quietly, \u201cUse it.
