Trump commands National Guard, FBI to Memphis in new crime crackdown!

President Donald Trump has shifted his attention to Memphis, Tennessee, unveiling a comprehensive new initiative aimed at reducing violent crime in the city. Speaking from the Oval Office on Monday, Trump signed a presidential memorandum to formally create the Memphis Safe Task Force—a move he described as the “next step” in restoring safety to America’s cities.

“This is very important because of the crime in Memphis and many other cities,” Trump said. “We’ll address it step by step, just like we did in D.C.”

A Federal, Multi-Agency Operation
The task force will not be a single-agency effort. Instead, it unites multiple federal agencies, including the FBI, ATF, DEA, Homeland Security Investigations, and ICE. National Guard troops will also play a prominent role, supporting local police efforts while demonstrating the seriousness of the federal government’s commitment.

Trump said the task force will closely resemble his earlier crackdown in Washington, D.C., which he has frequently praised as “extraordinarily successful.”
