Jesus Christ is the Son of God—our Savior and Redeemer, sent to save us all. Because of Him, you can feel joy and peace knowing you can be free from sin and someday live forever with God and your loved ones.
When God sent us to earth to learn and grow, He knew we would make mistakes. That’s why He gave us a Savior.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
We believe Jesus Christ is the literal Son of God and a distinct member of the Godhead, along with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. He came to earth to fulfill a divine mission, where He would:
- Experience the trials of a mortal life.
- Teach and testify of God.
- Perform mighty miracles.
- Suffer and die for our sins allowing us to be cleansed from sin
- Conquer death through His Resurrection, providing a way for all of us to be resurrected.
Jesus Christ Gave Us the Perfect Example
Jesus Christ was an example of pure love. He compassionately healed the sick and disabled, fed the hungry, raised the dead, cared for the poor, welcomed social outcasts, and ministered to all who faithfully sought Him.
The Savior feels that same love and compassion for you.
As Christians, we strive to be like the Savior and reflect His love in all we do.
