Exciting news for Tori Kelly and André Murillo!
The 32-year-old Grammy-winning singer is pregnant and expecting her first child with her 35-year-old husband, a professional basketball player, PEOPLE reveals exclusively.

Currently on a European tour with Ed Sheeran, Kelly shared with PEOPLE, “This year has already been incredible — performing in stadiums all summer, creating some of the most personal music of my career, and now starting a family with my wonderful husband.
We feel so blessed for what lies ahead and can’t wait to welcome this little blessing,” says the “Never Alone” artist, who married Murillo in May 2018.
Along with the announcement, Kelly shared a video showing intimate moments with Murillo at home and on the beach, accompanied by a snippet of a song from her upcoming album.

She sings, “Only you know me / Mind and my body / Riding with you down this road / We got forever to go / When we get closer / And when I hold ya / You make it feel just like home.”
Kelly continues, “And there’s no one here but you and me / We’ve been through it / Yeah, we been everywhere and in between / Yeah, yeah / Making the complicated easy / Felt every kind of feeling / Passed every test / Boxes, checked.”
“I’m ready for what’s next,” she sings softly. “Let’s make a baby.”
Kelly and Murillo began dating in 2016 and got engaged the following September. They exchanged vows in a private ceremony in May 2018.
Shortly after their wedding, she described the day as “the most magical day ever.”

Kelly’s most recent album, TORI., dropped in April 2024 — less than a year after she was unexpectedly hospitalized due to life-threatening blood clots.
Around the album’s release, she told PEOPLE she was feeling “great” and managing her health with “simple medication,” while attending regular checkups following her July 2023 hospitalization.
“Looking at my life and career, and being able to go on these tours, I realize I don’t want to take anything for granted because life is fragile,” Kelly reflected. “I’m holding my loved ones a little closer now.
